Weekend in Xitang

Ah, beautiful quiet picturesque Xitang, this was a nice relaxing way to spend a weekend. No hurries, nobody that we needed to meet up with or talk to, nothing at all other then to just stroll around the ancient town and admire all of its beauty.

It was enjoyable, we'd stroll and take photos and then sit down along the canals edge to enjoy a beer, in the evening we watched the sun fade away while drinking a nice bottle of wine. We will just let you enjoy some of the photos that we took while we were there.....

Hello Tina, hello Mark!
Yes, I am still alive! I will tell you more soon. I am looking at your photos of the Water Village (I did like it very much when I was there) and I am so surprised to get the feeling of something so foreign, when it looked like something so familiar only a few months ago... How fast we get used to the North-American landscape again!! Anyway... have fun... we'll talk soon and take good care of my husband this month when he comes!! Friendly yours, Christine http://myadventureinchina.blogspot.com

Ah, good to hear from you - we were worried....

Yeah, Xitang is absolutely amazing in its beauty. We really enjoyed just strolling through all the narrow street and along the canals. Glad that our photos bring you back to your time here.

We will make sure to have a few drinks with Ed while he's back, you need to let us know when you're planning for the both of you to be back so we can do karoke again.
