I knew this day would come..

it was really just a matter of time. I forgot my keys and locked myself out of the apartment. We changed the locks when we first moved into our apartment, so the management office doesn't have a set. I thought I had prepared for this eventuality, knowing in the back of my mind this would happen at some point.

Thinking I was smart, I gave a set to a friend except she and her husband went back to the U.S and she can't find the keys. Not that she would be able to help even if she did find the keys. So much for that back up plan. I called Mark and being the kind husband that he is, he left work to let me back in.

So now we will be giving a set of keys to another friend who lives down the street and keep an extra set of keys in my wallet.
